Are The Food Bloggers On Kos A Good Thing?

Thu Nov 01, 2007 at 12:49:32 PM PDT

The past couple of days on Kos have featured a couple of diary/stories dominated by the pro-Food group apparently known as the Food bloggers.  Halloween’s Front page Story about the Power of the Netroots in Heading Off The Trick or Treaters.  And earlier there was one about a Birthday reveler wanting a BIG COCK!

I love Cocks,  alternatives to Cocks, too.  I would be ecstatic if he, I mean she, were Chef. Just as I was ecstatic when she was here.  I hated when the Vegans attacked her as meat-eater.  I was ashamed for our nation.

But, I would really like to elect someone who is leader against the slaughter, and I am not convinced that the Food spin bloggers are a good thing.

We Are Not Safer!

Thu Jul 12, 2007 at 04:50:36 AM PDT

As long as the occupation of Iraq continues, as long as Bush/Cheney remain in office, as long as Osama bin Laden remains free, we are not "Safer." Saddam is gone. Iraqis have an elected government and a constitution. Bush should be finished, and if you believe him we should be safer. Yet the senseless killing continues.  And yet, the politicians continue to claim that we must continue the violence, because it keeps us safe.

We can't be safer while every Republican politician vying for our Presidency is scarier than Hell.  Many of them have even thanked God for Bush, resplendent in his squandering of billions to pay for all the senseless killing, without end.  What a menu for claiming safety!  And, here's the frosting on that cake - "If we leave, the terrorists will follow us home."

Using Black People, To Attack Black People. Updated

Fri Apr 13, 2007 at 06:22:39 AM PDT

Whenever the Right Wing perceives that Black People have made some advance, or gain, they attack.  Now, unable to attack using their tried and true, Racist strategies, they pay Black surrogates and use the very "Inner City," Ghetto conditions created, fostered, and maintained, by Corporate America, to once again attack the Black community:

Dear Mr. Jason Whitlock, your Uncle Tom shtick is going to be opposed as effectively as the campaign against, Racism and Sexism, because it’s the same thing.

Hello!  Your Rapper, Hit-Piece, does not pass the smell test.

Where Is This Mythical Iraqi Democracy?

Fri Jan 05, 2007 at 05:10:07 PM PDT

Have You Seen It?

We need to see this Iraqi democracy in action. We need to see when they meet. We need to see where they meet. We need to see and visit the various governmental services established by this budding democracy.  We need to see its infrastructure.

And, we need to hear what the Iraqi democracy says, and we need to hear about their issues.  We need to hear from Iraqi governmental leaders other than Talibani and al-Maliki?  We need to meet their cabinet and see them at work.  We need to meet other politicians. We need to meet non-governmental leaders, essential to any democracy, and really get to know them.   We want to know what they think.

We need to know what laws they’re considering, and what laws they’ve passed.  We need to know who’s supporting this Iraqi government and how they feel about the violence in their country.  We need to know of their plans for ending the violence.  After all, we’ve been told that unless we stay, the violence will increase.  Certainly the government has some plans.

A Fictional Account - I George Bush

Dear Diary,

My war on terror is beautiful cover: Endless War for Endless Rule.  My War on Terror is my master plan.

In all honesty, the term began as a campaign slogan.  It stuck. We had a lot of fun with them back then, and still do.  But, the people really like this one.
